Mainly Music began at St Johns Woolston in May 2005

The aim of mainly music is to provide an environment where young children develop skills to enhance their early education, through the use of music, rhythm, rhyme and other music related activities with the participation of a parent or primary caregiver.

During school term time two sessions are run using both halls. (Check our Calendar)

Session 1- 9.30 a.m.

Session 2 - 10.15 a.m.

The 30 minute session is followed by morning tea for the children and adults. A play group follows morning tea. There is an opportunity for parents / caregivers to network with other parents of young children.

When a session is full, a Waiting List is begun. Each family on the waiting list is given a card to record 3 opportunities to come to a session during the term while they are waiting to change to the weekly roll. If a family is away for 3 consecutive weeks without explanation that family goes on the waiting list and a new family is admitted to the session.
